- Stress-test the limits — We push edge cases: complex prompts, multiple languages, high-volume batches, and niche requests.
- Assess pricing fairness — We compare what each plan delivers versus what competitors offer at the same price point.
- Check support and updates — We contact customer support and note response time, quality of help, and how frequently the product ships improvements.

Our editorial team operates independently from our commercial relationships. A tool's presence on our site or placement in a ranking is never purchased. We maintain strict separation between the people who test products and the people who manage affiliate relationships.
If we change our opinion of a tool based on new evidence — a pricing change, a product degradation, or a better competitor — we update the review and the ranking immediately, regardless of any commercial relationship.
