Plain English Summary

Some links on RankTheAI are affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, we earn a small commission — at no extra cost to you. We only recommend tools we've genuinely tested. Affiliate relationships never change our ratings or rankings.

What Is an Affiliate Link?

An affiliate link is a tracked URL that tells the tool's company (or its affiliate network) that you came from RankTheAI. When you make a qualifying purchase after clicking such a link, we receive a referral commission — typically between 10% and 40% of the first month's subscription fee, depending on the specific program.

Affiliate links look like any other external link on our site. You can identify them by the "This page contains affiliate links" banner shown at the top of relevant pages.

Which Tools Have Affiliate Relationships?

We participate in affiliate programs for many of the tools we review. However, we also review tools where we have no commercial relationship. The existence or absence of an affiliate relationship has zero influence on the score, ranking, or recommendation we give a product.

We have given low scores to tools we have affiliate agreements with. We have given high scores and top rankings to tools that do not have affiliate programs at all.

How Commissions Work

  • Commissions are paid by the tool company or its affiliate network, not by you.
  • You pay the same price whether or not you use our affiliate link.
  • Most affiliate cookies last 30 to 90 days. If you return to purchase later through a different channel, we may not receive a commission.
  • Commissions help fund the independent testing, writing, and maintenance that makes this site possible.

Editorial Independence

Our editorial process is strictly separated from our affiliate relationships. The team members who conduct product testing and write reviews do not have visibility into which tools have active affiliate programs when assigning scores.

We do not accept payment for placement in any list or ranking. A tool cannot buy a higher position, a more positive review, or inclusion in a "Best of" list. If a tool's affiliate program offers us a higher commission to rank it first, we decline.

Regulatory Compliance

United States (FTC): This disclosure complies with the Federal Trade Commission's guidelines on endorsements and testimonials (16 CFR Part 255). We clearly disclose material connections on every page that contains affiliate links.

European Union: This disclosure complies with the EU's Unfair Commercial Practices Directive (2005/29/EC) and the Digital Services Act (DSA) requirements for transparent commercial communications.
